DEF is a meticulously crafted aqueous urea solution, comprising 32.5% urea and 67.5% deionized water. Its primary function is to undergo selective catalytic reduction (SCR), effectively reducing the levels of nitrogen oxides (NOx) present in the emissions of diesel engines.
