OUR STORY:
Johnston & Murphy, a symbol of classic craftsmanship and an embodiment of American style, has been setting the gold standard in quality products since 1850. With a legacy of excellence, J&M has long been the choice of accomplished, stylish men everywhere. In 2008, we decided to extend our dedication to style, craftsmanship, and innovation by introducing a new range of shoes, leather goods, and accessories for women.

FACTORY STORES:
With over 45 Johnston & Murphy factory stores dotted around the country, our factory outlets have an average size of 2,300 square feet. Initially created as outlets to clear seasonal discontinued and factory-damaged merchandise, these stores now present a range of value products in current styles and sizes.
PRESIDENTIAL FOOTWEAR:
Our journey into the world of presidential footwear began with a pair of custom-designed runoff oxfords in black, presented to President Barack Obama in Fall 2009. This symbolic gift also included a pair of boots inspired by the ones we custom-made for President Lincoln in 1861. To commemorate our storied presidential heritage, in the summer of 2008, we launched the website www.shoesofthepresidents.com. This platform pays tribute to our extensive legacy in footwear.
