How does the process of collecting money through Aadhaar Card linked with a Bank Account work?
Log in to the AirCash Merchant App and generate an invoice by entering the amount and remarks.
Select Aadhaar Pay as the preferred payment collection mode.
Request the Aadhaar number of the payer or scan the QR code on their Aadhaar card to automatically fetch the Aadhaar number.
Ask the customer for their mobile number for deduction notifications.
Select the customer’s bank from a dropdown list of banks.
The customer provides a biometric thumb impression on the device for authentication.
How can a customer make a payment through an Aadhaar Number?
If a customer wishes to make payments via their Aadhaar Card in person:
The merchant selects Aadhaar Pay as the payment collection mode and requests the customer’s Aadhaar number.
The merchant chooses the Aadhaar-seeded bank from the list and captures the customer’s thumb impression using the biometric scanner. The fingerprint acts as the authentication password.
The system matches the fingerprints with the data available in the Aadhaar database, and if it matches, the transaction is successfully processed.
