Desi Swad was founded by me, Dev Kandwal. I embarked on this culinary journey with the aim of addressing the need for a catering service and restaurant in the New Delhi area that would serve delectable, cost-effective dishes. I take personal pride in crafting mouthwatering flavors that rival home-cooked meals.
My decision to establish Desi Swad in this locality was driven by a desire to fill a void – the absence of a place where people could savor homemade breakfast, lunch, dinner, and share a piece of cultural delight, Jaggery (????), among friends. Food, I believe, is more than nourishment; it’s an opportunity to create cherished moments and bring people together.
Since our inception in 2014, every moment has been a joyous one. With the dedicated support of my exceptional staff, I successfully manage both our restaurant and catering service. Both endeavors bring me immense satisfaction, and I am excited about the prospect of expanding both businesses while continuing to relish the journey.
