In April 2007, the visionary CBLD Center emerged as a trailblazing resource hub, offering a comprehensive spectrum of services dedicated to competency-based learning and development and the effective management of human capital. Our mission revolves around equipping agencies, organizations, and individuals with the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their respective domains.
CBLD Center holds the esteemed designation of being a training provider appointed by the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA). Our specialized areas of focus encompass:
1. Human Resource WSQ Programs: Our expertise extends to training HR professionals in the development and implementation of competency-based frameworks for HR management and development within organizations.
2. Environmental Cleaning WSQ: We are at the forefront of skills development for the Cleaning Industry on a national scale. CBLD Center proudly serves as WDA’s appointed Program Partner for WSQ Qualifications in Environmental Cleaning, spanning Certificate, Higher Certificate, and Advanced Certificate levels.
Our transformational journey ushered in a pivotal shift, as Ms. Elizabeth Chan assumed ownership and management of the company. With over a decade of experience in helping agencies and organizations develop and execute competency frameworks, Ms. Chan has steered CBLD Center towards becoming a front-runner in the competency-based training and consultancy realm.
Over the past four years, we have established ourselves as a reputable training and consultancy firm. Our hallmark is the delivery of high-quality, competency-based training programs and consultancy services, underscored by an exceptional cadre of highly qualified and dedicated trainers. Our team has expanded to include over 50 staff members, associate trainers, and consultants, catering to a diverse range of offerings, including HR Training, Cleaners Training, Talent Management Software, Career Pathing, Digital Marketing, E-Learning, Learning Technology, and Caregiver Programs.
In 2010, recognizing the paramount importance of innovation and technology in the training landscape, CBLD Center established a Creative Department within the Projects Division. This strategic move brought together a multidisciplinary team of curriculum developers, educators, interactive media and graphic designers, and programmers. Their mission? To revolutionize our classroom-based programs by seamlessly integrating multimedia interactive learning pedagogies and methodologies. The result? Enhanced interaction, engagement, collaboration, and an elevated overall learning experience for our students.
By 2012, our interactive programs garnered widespread acclaim, attracting attention from government agencies and foreign delegations. We were invited to showcase our capabilities, sparking a surge in inquiries about our services and products.
In the same year, our Creative Department underwent a significant expansion to better serve our clients. We welcomed a psychologist and e-learning specialists and formed partnerships with esteemed creative and educational institutions in the USA and UK to bolster our intellectual prowess and product development.
This burgeoning unit was rebranded as ‘CBLD Learning Technologies’ to more accurately reflect our expanded array of products and services. CBLD Learning Technologies endeavors to be a holistic pedagogical learning solutions center, harnessing the power of software and hardware technologies and creating enriching learning environments.
