About Us:
Established on the 30th of June in 1990, Mahesh Edible Oil Industries embarked on a journey as a Partnership Firm, dedicated to the manufacturing and sale of high-quality mustard oil and mustard cake. Our story includes a significant chapter of evolution, marked by a change in the firm’s constitution on April 1, 1998. This change welcomed Sh. Mahesh Kumar, the youngest brother, as a partner, adding new dimensions to our growth.
In its inaugural year, the firm’s commitment led to the establishment of a cutting-edge manufacturing unit, and we introduced our products under the esteemed brand name – SALONI.
On the 31st of March 2000, we embraced transformation, transitioning into a Company Limited by Shares, known as Mahesh Edible Oil Industries Ltd., under Part IX of the Companies Act, 1956. Our journey as a partnership firm seamlessly transformed into that of a Limited Company, commencing on the 1st of April 2000.

In the span of twenty years, SALONI has risen to prominence as one of the country’s leading mustard oil brands. Its wide acceptance in the market is reflected in the exponential growth in sales and the expansion of production capacity. From 84,924 TPA in 2008-09, we ramped up to 103,824 TPA in 2009-10, experiencing a remarkable compounded growth of approximately 29% in turnover. Today, our company proudly stands as one of the top three producers of mustard oil in the nation.
