Founded by three passionate visionaries, Ovenbell is the ultimate platform for homemakers, offering a delectable array of nutritious, home-cooked meals to discerning consumers.
The three ingenious founders behind this venture are Pratik Jain (Co-founder and Technology Head), Ravi Arora (Co-founder and Operations Head), and Sandeep Shah (Co-founder and Strategist). Combining their tech-savvy expertise with a profound love for food, they have established GrapeFruit Technologies. Under the umbrella of Ovenbell, this venture bridges the gap between consumers seeking affordable, home-cooked delights and homemakers dedicated to crafting wholesome, customizable, and guilt-free meals.
Ovenbell embarked on its journey with a pilot project named ‘Zayka’ in September 2015 to assess the market’s dynamics. This initial phase revealed vast opportunities for process enhancements. Consequently, Ovenbell underwent substantial refinements, predominantly in fulfillment processes. Today, we have expanded our footprint from a pilot in two areas of Ahmedabad to encompass nearly 41 localities across 8 zones.
Presently, Ovenbell boasts a roster of 50 talented chefs who craft over 750 delectable dishes. New chefs continue to join our culinary brigade regularly. Our platform offers a diverse spectrum of cuisines, ensuring there’s something for every palate. In addition to scrumptious meals, we also feature delectable Cakes, Pastries, Chocolates, and Snacks.
To maintain our high culinary standards, each chef undergoes thorough scrutiny. We conduct comprehensive kitchen audits and taste evaluations before granting FSSAI registration. Moreover, we provide training to our home chefs on cooking best practices and operational procedures. Through the online portal, we empower chefs to create unique landing pages where they have complete control over the dishes they offer, pricing, and meal schedules. This approach ensures that chefs are motivated to prepare food with love and passion, aligning with their preferences.
For consumers, Ovenbell offers a seamless three-click ordering process. Upon order confirmation, both the Home Chef and Ovenbell’s logistics team receive detailed order notifications. The synchronization between our well-trained logistics team and the chefs guarantees the timely and hygienic delivery of food in securely packed containers, complete with essential accessories.
