Binka Basic Maths Commenced its Journey on January 7th, 2016, in the picturesque city of Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala.
However, as time went by, it became increasingly evident that math anxiety is a prevalent challenge faced by children worldwide. The primary cause of this issue is the absence of a strong foundation in mathematics.
Our core mission is to eradicate math-related fears from the minds of young learners and promote mathematical literacy on a global scale.
In our experience, a staggering 75% of children harbor anxiety when confronted with mathematics. Alarmingly, 50% of children struggle to write numbers from one to one hundred without making spelling errors.
Regrettably, many parents remain unaware of these fundamental challenges. Their focus primarily rests on the grades recorded on their children’s school progress reports.
Over time, this fear in children intensifies and can ultimately lead to a condition known as discalculia.
We strongly believe that when a child faces difficulties in comprehending mathematics, it is never the child’s fault. Instead, it can often be attributed to the teaching methods employed by the educators.
According to our pedagogical approach, children should be imparted the basics of mathematics through a simple, one-on-one interaction with a dedicated teacher.
Students who grasp the fundamentals of mathematics can effortlessly navigate complex school mathematics and apply this knowledge to real-life situations.
For those who acquire a strong mathematical foundation, the fear of math is transformed into a genuine appreciation for the subject.
Binka’s Pledge to Parents:
If any child fails to grasp the concepts taught by Binka, we offer a 100% fee refund.
Notably, we take immense pride in the fact that in the last five years, not a single child has sought a fee refund.
Our ultimate objective is to establish at least one study center per village or Panchayath, ensuring the accessibility of quality math education to every child.
